Ulihelisdi- the Ancient
Ulihelisdi, or "Uli" for short, hails from a by-gone era, a time before humans made their entrance upon the land.
Originally from an kingdom somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, her childhood realm was destroyed by a giant cataclysmic event when she was just a little minnow.
Barely escaping the destruction of her home, she was swept away into a newly created ocean that covered what would eventually become the continent of North America. Once the flood waters receded, she was left orphaned and stranded in the fresh water lakes of this new land.
Eventually, a new people populated this infantile world, and graciously adopted Uli as their own, sheltering her even when her true nature as a creature of the other world was suspected, for that was the custom of their ultimately compassionate culture. They gave her the name Ulihelisdi, meaning "welcome" in their tongue, for wherever Uli roamed, happiness and prosperity followed.
Since those ancient times, Uli has spent centuries roaming and befriending new tribes of people across the great continent of her new homeland.
Nicknamed "Nana Uli" by her mermaid friends due to her age, she is anything but! She loves a good race, in tail or on foot, and is our most athletic and game-oriented mermaid. So be ready to be challenged to some sort of competition when this beauty is around!
